Joyous Light Candles are made in the Archangels Candle Shop located just 25 minutes north of Toronto, Canada, by the Sisters of the Holy Theotokos Convent dedicated to the Mother of God.

HTC was established in 2001 as the Canadian branch for the Boston-based parent operation; who is the largest supplier of pure beeswax candles to houses of worship in the United States for more than 35 years.

Over the years, our 100% pure beeswax candles have proven to grow in popularity outside of our traditional market because of its many health and environmental benefits and because of the pure natural elements of the product (see Health Benefits).

To respond to the increasing demand of our 100% pure beeswax candles, we decided to share our finest 100% pure beeswax candles with all.

Collectively, our production team of Sisters at HTC has over 30 years of experience in producing superior quality 100% pure beeswax hand-made candles, including: votive, tea-light, pillar and taper candles at an amazingly affordable price.
